Rockford Chamber Manufacturing Expo 2011

On March 24th as a proud member, BUWW Coverings participated of  the Manufacturing Expo and Dinner at Cliffbreakers Riverside Resort offered by Rockford Chamber of Commerce. It was a good opportunity to meet with Rockford friends and support a Chamber that does so much for our business.

  

EXPOMANUFACTURA Mexico 2011 - BUWW Mexico

Expomanufactura 2011 took place on March 1st to 3rd at Cintermex, Monterrey, NL Mexico and it was the largest event for processing and manufacturing Industries in Mexico. Mexican and International companies were together and released the latest in machinery, products and services.

For BUWW Coverings Mexico it was a chance to show our quality products and services for all machine types. We met with a lot of prospects. 

In other words, it was a great opportunity to make great deals!!

BUWW está presente en Expo Manufactura 2011, que se lleva a cabo en Cintermex del 1 al 3 de marzo, visite su stand y compruebe que son los primeros en Calidad, Servicio y Precio.

Phil Zeilinger trabajó por varios años en el ramo de la protección para maquinaria industrial en los Estados Unidos, hacia 1996 tuvo la inquietud de ir por su cuenta y crear BUWW Coverings, una empresa que ofrece soluciones desde el punto de vista de productos como sus servicios.

“Mi intención al crear BUWW Coverings, es proveer a nuestros clientes guardas de calidad aprecio competitivo al igual que un excelente servicio, como yo lo hubiera esperado de haber hecho yo mismo la compra. Nuestro constante crecimiento testifica lo bien que lo hemos logrado, al continuar sirviendo a nuestros clientes en sus necesidades a sus problemas de protección”, señaló Zeilinger.

Mazak Receives Performance Excellence Award

Earns the 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award

Mazak has announced that it has received a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Mazak maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.
This year, Boeing recognized suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Mazak is one of the suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

CELEBRATING 18 YEARS OF BUWW COVERINGS

FROM GARAGE TO GLOBAL

      In 1993, Phil Zeilinger started his own upholstery business from his home, mostly repairing furniture for large furniture companies. His true entrepreneurial goals, however, lay elsewhere. Having worked in the machine-tool coverings business for several years, Zeilinger felt the itch to go out on his own and create a company that would set the standard for machine tool protection solutions—from both a product and service standpoint. From a small rented space in Rockford, Ill., BUWW Coverings was born.

Building an enterprise

Over the years, the company grew steadily. In 1996, BUWW moved its U.S operations to a 10,000 square-foot facility in Rockford. Four short years later, the company expanded to Canada, with a 5,600 square-foot facility in St. Thomas, Ontario. 

Over the next decade, the rapid growth continued, with facilities in 

Mexico                                                    and                         Brazil

         

“We were doing quite a bit of work in Canada and Mexico, and our strong commitment to customer service made expanding into those areas an easy decision,” says Zeilinger. “Being closer to our customers not only made it easier to fulfill on-site service requirements and assure quicker product delivery, but it also allowed us to be a better, more hands-on partner.”

Today, the company employs 50 and provides a wide range of machine-tool protection solutions and services, including guide-way covers, custom enclosures and horizontal- and vertical-mounting bellows. It boasts a 37,000 square-foot U.S. facility, a 10,000 square-foot facility in Canada, a 9,000 square-foot facility in Mexico and a 14,000 square-foot facility in Brazil. By following BUWW’s proven business model, Zeilinger says, the Brazil facility has become the number one provider of way cover and way-cover repair in the country.

“My vision has always been to provide a level of customer service and satisfaction that is above the expectation,” Zeilinger explains.

Zeilinger says his customers rely on BUWW’s knowledgeable professionals to act as strategic partners. Zeilinger says he also has an open-door philosophy with his customers: He wants to hear from them—both positive feedback as well as constructive criticism.

“I like to know my customers on a first-name basis. This allows me to meet their needs faster and easier,” he says.
